Born in Tokyo a few years ago by architect firm KDa, “Pecha Kucha” (Japanese for the sound of conversation) is a unique show-and-tell event where local och visiting creatives from all disciplines present 20 slides for 20 seconds each – an exhilarating kaleidoscope of inspirations, ideas and work. Pecha Kucha is a global movement currently active in over a hundred cities around the globe!

PECHA KUCHA GBG VOL #14

Thursday 4th of June 2009. Pecha Kucha GBG was once again arranged at Park LaneA dynamic group of speakers served up everything from African click songs, and the meaning of life to extreme martial arts.The presentations were followed by DJ Naomi Paradise.

Speakers: Plastic collector Jonas Olsson, cartoonist Anders Johansson, artist Henrik Wallgren presented the action park "Bygget", Jerry Boman & Anna Flytström from The Tram Sessions, multi-talented Laurie Rosenwald, Rikard Jönsson from Spotify / Pecha Kucha Malmö, photographer Rune Guneriussen from Oslo, Thomas Brühl from Visit Sweden, African artist Floid Gumbo, Gustaf Josefsson spoke about the meaning of life, and Andreas Bruzelius from Fighter Magazine spoke about martial arts
