KORU3, INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY, IMATRA, FINLAND

KORU3 symposium will be held in November the 6.-7.11.2009 in Tietäjäntalo
Tietäjänkatu 3, Imatra, Finland and it offers a series of talks and views by
artists and art experts from Sweden, Estonia, Russia, USA, Germany and
Finland.
The symposium is an international meeting forum for professionals in art,
artists, art teachers and students and it is open to anyone interested in
what happens in jewellery art after previous registration. Please visit the

October, 2009.

KORU3 exhibition at the Imatra art museum 9.-28.11.2009 features a variety
of interpretations on contemporary jewellery reflecting the excellence of
these art practices around the Baltic Sea. KORU3 exhibition, unlike former
invitational exhibitions, organized an open call directed to all those
artists who live and work in countries around the Baltic Sea and selected
anonymously
43 jewellers and three photographers from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany,
Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland.



VISITORS INFORMATION: Imatra art museum is open Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 7
pm, Saturday 11 -3 pm. Admission is free. The Museum is located in the
Imatra cultural centre, Virastokatu 1, 55100 Imatra, Finland and it is near
Imatra railway station.
