Torsten Jurell - beyond the lower world at Röhsska museum...

We had the opportunity to listen and join an interesting speech and a guided tour about Torsten Jurells art by one of the workers at Röhsska museum, how he come up with the sculptures and his ideas behind, very very interesting and also very nice pieces.
It’s always nice to get”behind” the ideas and thoughts of art pieces; it gives the art a deeper sense and enlarge understanding.

I get trapped by the story about the cockroach girl.

Torsten Jurell works in the field of sculpture, painting and graphic art. He exhibits continuously since 1976 in Sweden and abroad. His works are featured in private and public collections across Europe, China and the U.S.A.

THE SCULPTURES are mostly in wood, clay, stone, paper, metall - casted in bronze, aluminum and glass .
